FAQ:
Question:
Best moment in boxing?
Answer:
Representing my country. A feeling like no other. I have to mention, fighting in Lagos, Nigeria alone was enough to change my perspective on life and made me really grow as a person. i can't thank everyone at Repton enough for giving me that opportunity for such a once in a lifetime experience.
Question:
Worst moment in boxing?
Answer:
Losing in my first national final, also losing my unbeaten record. The feeling is sickening. I would advise any young boxers coming up to train extremely hard and never to experience that feeling.
Question:
Hardest bout?
Answer:
Ive had so many hard bouts, which is probably why my support is so big. Im exactly like Amir Khan in the sense i never seem to make it easy for myself, but saying that I love and appreciate the support so if continue to produce the fights, people will still come to watch. the fight against Lee Mould, which was shown on Ricky Hatton TV was a grueling fight, but leaving the ring a winner made it all worth it.
Question:
Top 3 London boxers?
Answer:
I think Lucien Reid is a classy fighter, he showed that by winning an ABA title. Also Luke Saunders, seen him box once and was impressed. To be honest i cant think of any more. Not to say there are no more good fighters but none that stand out in my mind at this present time.
Question:
Times Boxers to look out for
Answer:
Theres a couple youngens coming through who will be very good. Future is looking bright for the club in that sense. Joe Seabrook is the other proven fighter at the gym being a national champion too.
